Accessibility Statement

Courtown Riverchapel Community Development Group (CRCDG) is committed to making courtown.org accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We want everyone in our community, and everyone visiting the area, to be able to use this website.

What we've done

We aim to follow recognised accessibility guidelines (the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.1, at Level AA where possible). This includes:

  • Descriptive alt text on images so they can be understood by screen readers

  • Clear, consistent navigation across the site

  • Text that can be resized in your browser without breaking the layout

  • Colour contrast chosen for readability

  • Descriptive links and headings that make sense out of context

Ongoing work

We know accessibility is never fully "finished," and some older content — particularly archive images and documents — may not yet be fully accessible. We're working to improve this over time.

Tell us if something isn't working

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you use assistive technology and hit a barrier, please let us know — it helps us fix it. Contact us at crcdg.26@gmail.com and we'll do our best to help, and to provide the information you need in another format if required.
